Start Your “Body TransMutation”

Yes, I know what you are thinking.  What the hell is a Transmutation?

Have you heard about alchemy?  In the past this so-called knowledge was considered wordy of the same place as chemistry.  That was until the 17th century, where chemistry got its rightful place as a true scientific field while alchemy, and its incredible goals (such as turning lead to gold) became one of the oldest pseudoscience.

Another intrinsic belief of alchemy was that it could cure diseases and that life could be prolonged by “Transmutation” or the change of esencial elements into a superior form. Now if you want to know, the word transformation and transmutation differ that the first accomplish a change in form and the second implies changes to a fundamental level, you could go as far to think of changes at the atomic level.

No… I am not an alchemist, but I want a profound change, and I don’t want to use the word transformation.

Now let’s talk about the changes that will be coming for a period of 52 weeks (a year).

Right Now, I am what is called an Obese Type III. That is the classification that I get being 5′ 9″ and weighting more of a hundred pounds of my max recommended weight.  Right now, I am weighting 302 pounds and having 43% of Body Fat and with 56″ of abdominal width.

THERE ARE MANY CHANCES FOR IMPROVEMENT

But how about reducing Fat to a 25% of body weight
Control blood sugar enough to get out of the Prediabetic class
Reduce to a minimum my Sleep Apnea issue (this is a big one)
Get 4 sizes down on pants to a more common 40
Increase muscle mass while reducing fat
Get my basal insulin levels to a normal state (another big one)

So, starting on Friday 04/24/2026 (right after my birthday) I will start to work and keep a weekly journal on this blog.

This is me now

Follow me in my long travel to a healthier (transmutated?) version of me.    🙂

The Long Hiatus…

It’s been quite a while since my last post. Honestly, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to keep writing. Life threw me a few bumps recently, and I even failed to properly honor a great idea I found online (DietBet). But everyone has moments when they neglect their New Year’s resolutions and lose track—this time just hit a bit harder.

Not even sure about my current weight, but it’s time to get back on track and try new things. I can’t help but feel a little disappointed since I expected better results by now. Still, it’s time to move forward and keep writing. I will reach my goals.

This story will continue.
